Russell Jenkins
Experience and expertise
After gaining a law degree at Reading University, Russell joined one of the big four accounting firms in Cardiff and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989. Before joining ktsowensthomas in 2001 to run the forensic accounting department, Russell ran his own firm for ten years.
Russell is an experienced forensic accountant and expert witness who has acted in both the civil and criminal courts up to High Court. In his career, he has been responsible for over 100 forensic accounting assignments, valuing private companies for dispute resolution or ancillary relief purposes, preparing personal injury quantum reports including Ogden 6 & pension matters, advising on consequential loss claims and employment law disputes.
Russell is also the firm’s corporate finance expert and advises clients on corporate transactions, including fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, MBO's and MBI's and capital reorganisations.
Education
With a Bachelor of Law degree, Russell became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1999. He is a member of both the Expert Witness Institute and the Academy of Experts, as well as an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Three dimensional fact
After a blissfully unsuccessful cricket career, Russell now enjoys watching the great game and is a keen supporter of the mighty Glamorgan Cricket Club.
