David Owens

Experience and expertise

David qualified with Ernst & Young in Cardiff and was the founder of Owens Thomas Limited in 1990 before merging with KTS in 2003. He has a detailed working knowledge and experience of non executive directorships, involving strategic analysis, organisational change and leadership in the pursuit of achieving clients’ targets.

David has considerable audit experience of manufacturing and service sector companies, he has also worked for American, Australian, South African and Hong Kong based companies, and is well versed in meeting cultural challenges.

David specializes in auditing and assurance work and pre-sales due diligence, working with clients as a partner in their exit strategies.

David also leads our outsourcing team providing finance departments to some of our largest clients.

Education

With a degree from the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology, David also attended Harvard Business School to learn “Leading Professional Services Firms” an experience that has manifested through many aspects of his working career.

Three dimensional fact

A lead guitarist since Led Zeppelin ruled the world, David has strummed his stuff in tribute bands cranking out covers of AC/DC, Alice Cooper and the like. Groovy Man!!
