I’m the FCCA Associate Director at KTS Owens Thomas with 29 years’ experience as an external and internal auditor, responsible for our audit and assurance services. I look after a number of medium to large clients – work includes group reporting for manufacturing subsidiaries of foreign owned companies in the UK.
I have developed specialised skills in assisting Public Sector/Not-for-Profit clients in their transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) which has included secondment assignments to advise on this area.
I have practical experience in corporate reporting under the new UK GAAP and IFRS advising across a range of businesses, industries and services. As the firm’s specialist in International Financial Reporting , foreign invested entities and FRS 102, I look after private sector clients within a range of sectors like Manufacturing, Engineering and Fabrication. Some clients are Global Entities, others, regulated private sector entities.
I’m the KTS Owens Thomas Student Training Manager. I deal with procedural and administration required by the professional body plus training requirements of work experience and internship placements within the firm. I’m a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, an Affiliate of the Institute of Internal Auditors and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee of Coleg Gwent.

I can be found on a Sunday morning pounding the treadmill at the local gym. I’m a keen walker and enjoy the outdoors, I spend most weekends on leisurely walks.
