Financial and management accounting

It says accountant on our business cards, so producing the annual financial accounts and periodic management accounts would be something you would quite naturally expect from ktsowensthomas.

What we don’t want here though is to take an approach of producing the numbers and then seeing you again the same time next year! We want to deliver your financial reporting information in true 3DA style and ensure that you get the maximum value from the process.

Wherever appropriate, we want to be involved with the management accounts for your business - be that by preparing, reviewing or commenting on the results – we want to add value to those reports. We can work with you to develop appropriate and relevant key performance indicators to build into the management reports so that you are getting the most relevant information to base your business decisions on.

Management accounting goes beyond just producing a couple more sets of accounts each year – these are the basis for measuring business performance against budgets and forecasts and can be useful bases for tax planning to keep a check your future tax liabilities.

All of this also means that the annual accounts should then be a walk in the park as the continual accounting process throughout the year has cut up the work into manageable chunks. The annual accounts can be quickly agreed and the whole process moves seamlessly into the next financial year.
